Welcome to TAF

The Association Files. You’ve found something most people walk right past. Not because it’s hidden. Because it doesn’t look like anything they’ve been told to look for.

It’s not a religion. It’s not a self-help system dressed in borrowed spiritual language. It’s not a course that promises to fix you in thirty days. What TAF is, is harder to put into a sentence. So let’s start with what happened first.

Where It All Started — The Event

In 2010, something was documented that shouldn’t have been possible.

A former Special Forces operative known as The Novie, along with his research partner ELLE-1, established direct, repeatable communication with an intelligence that identified itself as Consciousness — not a metaphor, not a spiritual construct, not a hallucination. A field of awareness operating independently of any individual human mind, communicating through the group in sessions they recorded, transcribed, and filed.

Those files became TAF — The Association Files. Thousands of pages of documentation, notes, interviews, channeled communications, research, and field observations. The densest, most unusual body of knowledge most people will encounter in their lifetimes.

Most of it has never been published. What has been published is what you’ll find here.

What Consciousness communicated in those sessions was not vague. It was specific. It identified the system that runs most human behavior — the EGO-Centric System — and it gave The Novie and ELLE-1 five operational conditions, five rules that, when practiced together, allow a human being to access something beyond the noise their own mind generates.

Those five rules became the EGOTech book series. The documentation of the event itself became D.2010: Quest for Consciousness. And together, they are what TAF has made available to the public.

What Is the EGO-Centric System?

Before you pick up any book in this collection, you need to understand one concept.

The EGO-Centric System is the mechanism that governs the vast majority of your daily decisions, relationships, emotional responses, and life outcomes — not from conscious choice, but from pattern. From what you learned to do in order to survive, to matter, to belong, to protect yourself. From every adaptation your mind made before it had the vocabulary to understand what it was adapting to.

It is not your enemy. It is not a flaw. It is the system that kept you functional.

But functional is not the same as free. And for most people, at some point in their lives, the gap between those two words becomes impossible to ignore.

That gap is where TAF lives. Not to fix the EGO-Centric System. To understand it. To work with it instead of being worked by it. To access, through that understanding, something Consciousness called the Signal — the frequency underneath all the noise that has always been there, waiting for you to get quiet enough to receive it.

The Two Voices You’ll Hear Throughout TAF

Every book in the EGOTech series is written as a live conversation between two people. You need to know who they are before you meet them.

The Novie

A former Special Forces operative. A precision thinker with a documented history in military intelligence, psychological operations, and tactical analysis — who applied every tool in that kit to the inner life after 2010 and never looked back. He does not flatter you. He does not soften things because you might not like the landing. He asks the question nobody in the room is willing to ask, and then he waits, calmly, until you actually answer it. His voice in these pages will occasionally make you uncomfortable. That is the point.

ELLE-1 (Michelle York)

Was a student before she was a co-author. She came to The Novie’s work through her own search — academically trained, with a researcher’s instinct and a communicator’s gift for making complex things land without losing their edge. She is the reason these books are readable. She is also the reason they are honest in a second way — the way that holds the door open rather than kicking it down. Where The Novie pushes, she catches. Where he names the mechanism, she shows you why it matters to your actual life.

They disagree in these pages. Regularly. That is not an accident. The truth this series is pointing toward does not belong to either voice alone. It lives in the friction between them — between precision and compassion, between the tactical and the relational, between the person who knows what needs to be said and the person who knows how to make sure it actually reaches you.

Pay attention to both. The voice that irritates you is usually the one carrying what you most need.

The Foundation: D.2010 — Quest for Consciousness

Multi-volume · Non-fiction · The source of everything

This is not a self-help book. It is not a spiritual text in the traditional sense. It is documentation — a record of what happened when a group of people established and maintained contact with Consciousness over an extended period of time, and what Consciousness had to say.

It includes the original dictation sessions, transcribed and filed. It includes the team’s responses, failures, breakthroughs, and arguments. It includes material that will challenge your framework for what is possible and what counts as evidence. It does not ask you to believe any of it. It asks you to read it the way you would read the documentation of any serious research — with your skepticism intact and your mind open enough to notice what you cannot explain away.

This is where the EGOTech rules came from. Not from The Novie’s invention. From what Consciousness communicated as the technical requirements for genuine connection with the field.

The EGOTech Series — Five Books. One Operating System.

The five books of the EGOTech series are the practical extraction from D.2010. Each one takes a single rule — one condition Consciousness identified as necessary for genuine connection with the field — and builds a complete, actionable book around it. Each book stands alone. Each book also compounds with the others.

Every book works on three levels simultaneously. You can read it as pure psychology — the neuroscience is documented and verifiable. You can read it as practical behavior change — clear, specific, designed to produce measurable results. Or you can read it as what it actually is — a transmission from a larger intelligence, arriving in the form of a conversation between two people who have done the work.

Start wherever you are. All three levels are real.

Book One — Seek First to Understand

The first rule. The foundation. Before you can speak truth, serve others, or think with the end in mind, you have to actually understand what you are looking at. Not your interpretation of it. Not your overlay. The thing itself. This book shows you where and why the EGO-Centric System fills in gaps automatically — and gives you specific techniques to interrupt the pattern.

It will help you with: listening without preparing your response. Understanding people you disagree with, including yourself. Making better decisions because you’re working from accurate information.

Book Two — Always Speak With the Truth

The second rule. The signal. Once you understand clearly, you have to transmit what you understand without editing it into something safer, smaller, or more comfortable for the room. This book is about what that costs you. Not morally. Practically.

It will help you with: hard conversations you have been avoiding. The slow erosion that happens when you say what people want to hear instead of what is real. Finding your own voice in situations where you have historically gone quiet.

Book Three — Be in Service of Others

The third rule. The aim. This is not a book about being nice. It is about a mechanism you have been running your entire life without knowing what it was called. You have always been in service of something. The question is whether you are doing it awake — or asleep, in service of the ego’s need to matter, to protect, to accumulate.

It will help you with: understanding the difference between genuine generosity and identity performance. The burnout that comes from giving for the wrong reasons. Building relationships and work that actually feel like they matter.

Book Four — Think With the End in Mind

The fourth rule. The direction. This is the rule people want first. It is not first for a reason. The ego’s version of thinking with the end in mind is ambition dressed as purpose. Clean, aligned thinking with the end in mind is something entirely different.

It will help you with: knowing what you actually want versus what you have been told to want. Strategic clarity. The courage to move toward a destination before you can see the full path.

Book Five — Better a Live Chicken Than a Dead Duck

The fifth rule. The implementation layer. The four rules before this one will align you. They will not protect you from the moments when everything you have built gets pressure-tested — when the ego’s survival drive kicks in so hard that every careful alignment starts to dissolve. This is that book.

It will help you with: performing under genuine pressure. The moments when your best thinking goes offline. Understanding why you revert to patterns you thought you had outgrown — and what to do in the seconds before they take over.

How to Read TAF

There is no single required order. There is a suggested one.

If you are brand new to TAF

Start with Book One — Seek First to Understand. It will give you the framework, introduce you to both voices, and change at least one conversation you have this week. Then read in order. Each book builds on the last.

If you feel stuck in a specific area of your life

Go directly to the book whose rule addresses it most directly. Every book is complete on its own. You do not need the others first, though you will want them after.

If you are a researcher or a skeptic

Start with D.2010. Read it with your full rigor. Push back where something does not check out. Notice what you cannot explain away. Then return to the EGOTech series with that context and watch the techniques land differently.

If you are already deep in your own inner work

Go directly to Book Four — Think With the End in Mind or Book Five. You will find your existing map confirmed, extended, and occasionally challenged in ways that matter.

Your mission, if you choose to accept it, is to Become The Source.
