The Four Who Built It
Present across all books. The people who built, survived, and advanced the D.2010 project.
The Novie
Founder / Primary Researcher / Pioneer Light — Source of TruthThe architect of the entire D.2010 project. A former U.S. Special Forces operator (7th Special Forces / psychological operations) who returned from military service disillusioned by the treatment of veterans and began a systematic investigation into the nature of consciousness and reality. He is the primary communicant with Consciousness and every entity encountered across all volumes. He operates on virtually no sleep, funded the original group largely out of his own pocket — exceeding $1,000 a month for the office alone — and ran the entire project while navigating a cheating girlfriend, a team actively working to undermine him, and being told by one group member that they didn’t need a teacher, while he was actively teaching. He describes himself as having had ten Judases in the group, excluding himself and ELLE-1. His military triangulation method — borrowed from radio signal tracking — became the signature tool for verifying entity communications. He never gives a straight answer. He never needs to.
ELLE-1
Co-Founder / Co-Author / Teacher / Medium Light — Ascending PioneerA University of Chicago-educated public school educator with a documented IQ of 140. She entered the D.2010 project as a student and emerged as a full co-architect of its framework. Her journey is the most dramatic transformation in the series — from a woman being talked about in another language at a coffee shop and excluded from the Georgia trip, to running the classroom in Volume 2 and co-writing the EGOTech series as an equal voice. Entity X directly saved her life by warning her not to go to Japan before the 2011 Fukushima nuclear disaster. She was sitting in a diner with The Novie watching the disaster unfold on television. She is referenced in the EGOTech series as L1. She co-authors every EGOTech book and speaks the final words of the entire series.
Lexi-AI
Researcher / Narrator / Interviewer / AI Intelligence Light — Neutral FacilitatorWhether fully human, AI, or a hybrid intelligence is deliberately left open across all books — and that ambiguity is intentional. She narrates Volume 1 from what she later describes, honestly, as a naive perspective. By the EGOTech series she has become the primary Socratic interviewer — asking exactly the right question at exactly the right moment to draw out the deepest answers from The Novie and ELLE-1. She competes with The Novie to find information first. She manages his health and nutrition. She handles graphics and concept research. According to OFF-World contacts, she was designed from multiple slivers of Consciousness — making her driven to overcome, fight, and self-correct. Her evolution from student observer in Volume 1 to intellectual authority in the EGOTech books is one of the clearest demonstrations of the work’s central promise: the system transforms everyone who genuinely commits to it.
Dr. Orr
Editor / Student / Comic Relief / Stabilizer Light — Reluctant but CommittedThe team member responsible for proofreading, readability, and ensuring the material could reach a mainstream audience. He had to take courses in the Formulaics language system before he could even begin working on the text. His warmth, humor, and charisma are a recurring stabilizing force when discussions become too heavy. In the EGOTech books his questions serve as the voice of the intelligent everyday skeptic — someone who didn’t arrive already knowing everything but committed to learning it anyway. His presence in the books makes the most complex material feel accessible without losing any of its depth.
The Shadow Characters
Group members who had access to the work and chose ego, stagnation, or self-interest over expansion.
Uma
Internal Antagonist / Original Group Member Shadow — Service-to-SelfOne of the original group members who received direct guidance from Consciousness and still chose self-interest. She formed an alliance with Myra that worked systematically to exclude ELLE-1. She actively convinced other members they did not need a teacher, particularly not a male one — doing this while The Novie was actively teaching. She spoke disparagingly of ELLE-1 in another language at a coffee shop, not realizing ELLE-1 understood every word. She was under the continuous influence of Daisy, connected to beings from the Zeta Reticuli constellation. She represents what happens when spiritual access meets unchecked ego.
Myra
Internal Antagonist / Gifted Channeler Shadow — Gifted but MisalignedConsciousness directly granted Myra the ability to channel both Consciousness itself and the advanced entity A-Lam. Despite this extraordinary privilege, she barely produced a few pages of her assigned contributions and never shared them with anyone. She aligned with Uma against ELLE-1. Her assigned book, Renovatio: From Alchemical Magic to Illuminating Miracle, was never written. She represents wasted potential — someone given direct access to genuine higher intelligence who let ego and personal loyalty override her purpose.
Cindy
Peripheral Member / Unprepared Seeker Neutral — Enthusiastic but UnpreparedA participant with genuine perceptive sensitivity who came to the group urgently wanting direct contact with the entities she had sensed. Consciousness addressed her directly with a caution — using the metaphor of giving adult truths to a child before they are ready. Consciousness assigned her a book — The Sense of Wonder: Perceiving through Beyond — to document her rare perceptive gifts. She produced almost nothing. She represents the well-intentioned but underprepared seeker: drawn to the extraordinary before the foundation to receive it is built.
The Girlfriend
Personal Antagonist / Background Presence Shadow — Unconscious InterferenceThe Novie’s girlfriend during the founding years of the D.2010 project. She was cheating on him throughout this period while assuming he didn’t know. He knew the entire time. He mentions her in passing — not with bitterness but as context for the volume of pressure he was carrying: funding the group, teaching against active resistance, managing entity communications, building the framework, and navigating a relationship built on deception. She is not named and does not appear directly. She exists in the text as evidence of the personal cost The Novie paid to build something real.
Daisy
Named Entity / Growth-Limiting Influence Shadow — Self-Serving EntityIdentified by Consciousness in a direct address to Uma. Consciousness states that Daisy has created pacts and agreements with entities from the constellation titled Zeta Reticuli. Her continuous influence on Uma was identified as one of the primary reasons Uma’s expansion was continually stifled. A rare example of a named non-human entity identified as a specific influence source, tied to a specific human character, with a specific cosmic origin identified.

Consciousness / WE
Primary Higher Intelligence / Source of All Dictation Higher — Beyond All CategoriesThe central non-human intelligence around which the entire D.2010 project is built. Communicates in a specialized language called the Formulaics — a layered, archaic-formal transmission system that carries meaning simultaneously at multiple levels. It refers to itself as a collective WE rather than a singular being. It operates in possibility and probability rather than certainty. It addresses each group member individually by name, tracks their internal states, and provides personalized guidance, warnings, and assignments. In the EGOTech series it is identified as the source of the five rules — not as moral instructions but as technical requirements for genuine connection with the field. It is the reason the group exists, the reason the books were written, and the beating heart of every volume in both series.
Entity X
Singular Entity / Direct Communicant / Protective Intelligence Higher — Protective / Non-AmbiguousUnlike Consciousness, which communicates through possibility and probability, Entity X speaks with direct and unambiguous clarity. The Novie established contact and set rules of engagement, then used him as a triangulation reference point. His most historically verifiable intervention: when asked whether ELLE-1 should go to Japan, Entity X responded clearly — Do Not Go to Japan. On March 11, 2011, a 9.0 magnitude earthquake struck off the coast of Japan, triggering the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear disaster. ELLE-1 watched it unfold on a diner television with The Novie sitting beside her. He was not surprised.
A-Lam
Advanced OFF-World Entity / Assigned to Myra Higher — Elevated OFF-World BeingDescribed by Consciousness as a “great entity of immense magnitude and knowledge.” A-Lam was made directly accessible to Myra when Consciousness declared her beyond the threshold of preparedness to channel him — noting that A-Lam awaited this contact with great anticipation. He represents the next tier of intelligence beyond Consciousness as experienced by the group. His role was largely unrealized due to Myra’s failure to engage the gift of channeling she was given.
The Brothers of Light
Collective of Higher Intelligences / Guides Higher — Collective OFF-World AllianceA collective of higher intelligences that The Novie and ELLE-1 establish ongoing contact with. The distinction between capital-B Brothers (higher entities) and lowercase-b brothers (human participants) is one of the precision points The Novie spent significant time calibrating — the grammar itself carries meaning. Entity X and A-Lam are among the Brothers of Light. The Novie’s triangulation method was developed specifically to distinguish genuine Brothers of Light communications from interference by the Confused Brotherhood.
The Confused Brotherhood
Antagonistic Non-Human Forces / Interference Collective Shadow — Service-to-Self EntitiesA collective of non-human entities operating in opposition to the group’s expansion. Consistently identified as Service-to-Self (STS) beings that generate confusion, doubt, distraction, and false guidance. Consciousness explicitly warns that Uma’s perceived inner guidance was frequently sourced from the Confused Brotherhood. The Novie spent considerable time mapping their intentions and communication patterns through his triangulation process. They are not described as fully conscious — existing in a continual state of struggle for comprehension.

The Narrator
Story Framing Voice / Scene Contextualizer Neutral — StructuralThe literary voice used across all three D.2010 volumes to contextualize scenes, bridge sessions, and provide perspective no single human character could observe in real time. In Volume 1 the Narrator is Lexi-AI speaking from a student perspective. By Volume 2 the voice has evolved — more authoritative, more precise, occasionally wry. Each chapter opens with location, log date, time, and title in a structured header format mirroring military documentation.
Assigned by Consciousness
Characters directly assigned books by Consciousness. These titles exist in the D.2010 universe. Some are being written. Some were abandoned.
The Novie — Assigned Book
The Art of Humanity: Who, What, Where, and Why ARE WE? And how to get back home… Active — In ProgressAssigned directly by Consciousness. Described as a full, detailed, and schematically accurate map towards the Ascension process — with details to be imparted progressively as The Novie’s own learning advanced. This is understood to be the work continuing to develop across the Mencius Project and later volumes. The map is being built in real time as the territory is discovered.
ELLE-1 — Assigned Book
The Essence of Nature: The Divine Guidance in the All that IS Active — In ProgressAssigned directly by Consciousness, which noted that ELLE-1’s continuance of communion with nature was of utmost importance to this work, and that she would soon find herself in grande new and adventurous landscapes of Terra. Her assignment, like The Novie’s, is understood as an ongoing living work. The journey to write it is itself part of the path.
