The books in the Become The Source universe were not written in silence. They were written to music — specific compositions scored to match the emotional arc, the tension, the atmosphere of each story. That music is not a bonus feature. It is the other half of the experience.
When you read D.2010 and hear the soundtrack that was playing while those sessions were documented, something shifts. When you read Melonnie and the score moves with her through the underworld, the prose lands differently. The music doesn’t illustrate the books. It inhabits them.

How to Listen
The simplest way: put the soundtrack on while you read the book it was scored for. Let the music set the pace. You will find yourself reading differently — slower in places, faster in others, pausing where the music pauses. That’s not an accident. The compositions were built to move with the prose.
You can also listen independently — driving, working, in the dark with nothing else. The music stands on its own. But it was made for the books, and the books were made with it playing. The full experience is both together.
